CLC bio started commercial activities on January 1, 2005.

After four years of impressive growth in the number of employees, in global representations, in the number of customers, and in the number of bioinformatics programs, this is CLC bio today:

• We are headquartered in Aarhus, Denmark
  
• We have sales offices in four countries:
  - USA (Boston, Maryland, and San Diego)
  - UK (Nottingham)
  - India (Hyderabad and Delhi)
  - Brazil (Rio de Janeiro)
• We have sales partners in
  - Europe (UK, Turkey, and France)
  - Asia/Oceania (Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, India, Australia, and New Zealand)

• We have 41 employees
  - 15 are working as developers and consultants
  - 12 have a PhD in areas like bioinformatics, mathematics, computer science, biology, etc.
  - 20 have a MSc in areas like molecular biology, mathematics, computer science, etc.
• We have an experienced executive management team:
