In order to help you organize your research projects, you can import all types of files – e.g. PDF files, Word files and Excel files - related to your project.

The files can be opened directly from the CLC workbench by double-clicking on them in the file navigator at the left side of your screen. The files can now be changed and saved again inside CLC workbench, giving you the opportunity of having all your research data gathered at one singe point in your computer

This eliminates time spent on moving in and out of different bioinformatics programs, and it eliminates time spent on looking for files in different folders on your computer.

You can export an entire project including the external files and send it to a colleague or fellow student for him or her to go through or further develop.
