Text Based Sequence Info View
The normal grapical view of a sequence shows the annotations as boxes along the sequence, but often there is more information available about the sequence in question. In all CLC bio’s workbenches this information is available through the Sequence info function which also displays a textual overview of the annotations.
The initial view shows the headings, and the corresponding detailed text-info can be shown by clicking the text. The information available depends on the origin of the sequence.
If the sequence is annotated, the annotations can be found under the heading Annotation map, which displays the various types of annotations that are attached to the sequence.
Clicking on an annotation type in the Annotation map will display all the annotations of this type identified on the sequence.
The annotations are displayed as links (underlined blue text), and by clicking on these links, the annotations can be shown graphically.
