BLAST against local databases
Performing a BLAST search against local databases is as easy as performing a web based BLAST. At present, the BLAST version included in the Workbenches is 2.2.14. All searches are made directly from the workbench: You do not have to write any command line instructions or setting any parameters manually.
All results can be instantly shown graphically and in table format, and all search results can be easily saved for later use and editing.
The workflow is easy
- One or more sequences are selected as query sequence(s)
- A BLAST program and a local database is chosen for each search
- Relevant BLAST parameters are selected
The BLAST results can be shown graphically or in tabular format.
